Just sold my "Birches and Sumacs" painting on the weekend. Now onto some new ones for the January show at the new Milton Centre for the Arts. The "Birches and Sumacs" painting was the largest one I have done so far - looks like people like the big ones!
I am always looking to do custom paintings from customers' photos - send me a note via my website at http://www.ianridpath.ca/painting_index.htm

My Largest Painting to Date Completed
I have now completed my largest canvas entitled "Birches and Sumacs". It is an oil on canvas work measuring 36"W x 48"H on 2" gallery canvas. I started it on the Studio Tour weekend of October 1st and have worked on it sporadically for a total of about 12 hours. It is now drying and is on view at The Gallery Upstairs at Harrop Restaurant at 345 Steeles Avenue East in Milton.
Here is an image of the final painting.
